A Toast to Friends

With Deepavali and Hari Raya just around the corner, another Chinese custom to observe is the Chongyang Festival - where TT and I make a toast and pledge to friendship. It's the Mid-Autumn Festival!

Hi everyone

It's one of my favourite times of the year, you know -- the Mid-Autumn Festival! Where mooncakes will be eaten, fragrant tea will be drunk and poems will be recited under the light of the full moon... NICE, hor! And oh, special lanterns made of brightly-coloured cellophane or paper, in all shapes and sizes will be promenaded... tee-hee!

So won't you join me in learning a special poem for the Mid-Autumn festivities in The Tang of Poetry? I hope you will.
